SAVE THE

Why
Save the
Produce?
We are a group of Brown students working to prevent food waste and foster a deeper connection with food. While we have diverse interests in fields like music, international relations, running, and yoga, we all share a love for delicious, sustainable food. Because of this love for food, the fact that millions of tons of food are wasted in America just tears us up. To try and do our part to reduce food waste in our community, we’ve started a campaign to spread awareness (and tasty recipies) about the problem. Our leaflets are currently available in select farmer’s markets, local food stores, and Brown Market Shares. We hope you’ll love the recipes as much as we do!
